Connie Jane (Walker) Knuth was born February 14, 1945 at Rural Bayard, Nebraska to Richard and and Mildred (Butler) Walker. Connie attended school at Bayard, Bingham and Hyannis. She was married to Dan Knuth on April 18, 1964. They had two children: Dale and Dana. After ranching near Bingham for several years they moved to Valentine and ran the sale barn. Connie held various jobs in the Valentine and Ainsworth area. She passed away at home on Friday, June 12, 2008, at the age of 63 years, three Months and 28 days. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her special friend, Mark McNally of Ainsworth; son, Dale Knuth and wife Glenda of Hartford, South Dakota; daughter, Dana Iverson and husband, Tom of O'Neill, Nebraska; grandchildren Cody and Conner Iverson, and Stacia, Melinda and Dean Knuth; a sister, Doris Novotny and husband, Dean of Minatare, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Don Hatfield of Chillicothe, Missouri; sister-in-law, Gesila Walker of Elizabeth, Colorado; along with many nieces, nephews and several friends.
