Narrative
I have a photocopy of a letter written by Priscilla sent to her parents. It was written on June 19, 1829 from Boon County Missouri.
In this letter she talks about her sons James Henry Starke and Charles Thornton Starke. She also makes reference to their black people andnamed 2 of them as Lucy and Nelly. She made a reference to a possibleblack person named Aunt Hannah. From what I can tell, they wrote theirown letter to Aunt Hannah so they were educated somewhat.
